David Pierce - Rates

Rate for mechanic work - $50 to show up, $50 per hour after that.

Shop space utilization day time: $100 per hour 

Shop space storage, over night: $200

Shop Space clean up fee: $20 per job

Mechanic/operator clean up fees: $15 per job

Equipment operator rate: $20 per hour

Parts research, pickup or ordering: Cost + 20%, $2 per mile pickup and delivery, $4 per mile if it requires a trailer.

Hazmat recycling fee: $200

Welding $50 per job minimum, $50 per hour

Example 1: 

Your tractor needs fixing. I come look at it. I research and order parts. Parts arrive. I pick up your tractor and drive it to my shop and take 4 - hours to fix it, then drive it back.

$50 to show up + 1 hour mechanical assessment =$100

$cost of research and purchasing parts plus 20% ($400 part x 1.2) = $480

$100 x 4 hour in my shop = $400

$50 per hour x 4 hours mechanic work = $200

Shop Space clean up fee: $20 

Mechanic clean up fees: $15

Total: $1215

Example 2: 

You ask me to operator your equipment for 4 hours.

$50 to show up = $50

$20 per hour labor x 4 = $80

$15 clean up fee = $15

Total: $145
